We had Ako afternoon, my buddy was Michael. 

We wrote about the Global impact of ww2.

Here are some facts I learnt.

- Benghazi, Tobruk, Tripoli are in Libya and Alamein is in Egypt. 

- ww2 became famous 

- hitler died at the age of 30, he killed himself and his girlfriend because they were almost getting caught by the American soldiers

- 3 million people died in WW2

- hitler is from Germany

- Hitler went into Poland

- the two teams of countries of called Allies and Axis.

    Allies is France, American, NZ, Australia, England, Canada

Axis is Germany, Russia

- some soldiers wore gas masks

Microscopes are 2,000 dollars.

the red object is 4x and yellow is 10x, blue is 40x and white is 100x.

Each objects have different magnification. red x4, yellow 10x, blue 40x and 100x.

Microscopes cost more than 2k and one of those object pieces cost $200 to $400.

the focus knob is used to make that makes this stage go up and down so you can see it better.

Explain what a ‘muse’ is. Inspiration is when you look at it you get inspirarion

• Where was Tre the day the voids turned up? How do you know? He was in class because you can see 

the teacher reading a book.

• Where are Tre’s mum and dad? Why do you think this? At the hidden place

• Do you think Muse spelt out RUN just for Tre, or do you think it's always there on her table? Why?spelt out RUN just for Tre because she knew that tre went to get out because he was different.

• How far away was the new school from Tre’s old house? How do you know this?very far away 2-3 days because it said the voids have been quiet for a few days.

• Does hushed mean killed? How do you know? If not, what else could it mean?no it means get hurt

• What is “the pen” (page 11)’ prison

• What was dad trying to tell Tre? Why couldn’t he just tell him where his/mum were? Because guards were listening.

• On page 14, what happens to tre when “his voice catches”? He catched a feeling 

• Why is Muse the one who rows the boat? Cause tre know where to go

• What language feature is “The harakeke closes in, swallowing them up”. A simile

camp school

 camp school     

I was so excited for camp because it was my first time going to camp. When i got to school i went and put my stuff down then i went to my friends there names are kordell,Havea,railey and the others. After that we were going to camp. We said goodbye to our parents and left in the bus. We were eating snacks and talking and playing games because it was going to take 3 hours to get there. After that we arrive we got off and 

Stretched and then we met Jenny and Tony. they were giving us instructions and they took us inside. After that we went around playing. After that we went to the beach and we didn’t listen to Miss Ashley by going into the ocean. After that we came back and had dinner which was nachos. 

On Tuesday, we got up, brushed our teeth, changed our clothes and came into the hall. Then we did jump jam. After jump jam we went and played games in the hall. For breakfast I had cereal. We all got into 3 groups - my group was Miss Ashley’s group. The kids were Kordell, Auckland, Davlyn, Rosie, Lily U, Hope, Senitila, Syraiah-Lee, Joshua, Hemi, Eh Htoo, Sumuree and Giamarni. We did orienteering which was a paper thing and you had to work as a team to find answers to the quiz. After that we did sports in the hall and then after lunch went to kayaking. I have done it before so I knew what to do. My buddy was Mr Randolph (Josh’s dad). We kayaked from one side of the shore to the other, explored some cool beaches and caves and then we rafted by each others kayak to make a big group. Me and Mr came second on the way back. Miss Ashley took our pictures. We went back to camp and went into the pools. After that we went shower and then came for dinner. After dinner and freetime, we all went to the hall to watch Avengers with our snacks and blankets. 

On Wednesday we woke up and did the same thing. After that we went for breakfast i had bread and butter after that i went to the park played with my friend then the teacher came and got us to come to the hall 

We went into group and played some games it was so fun after that we we went paddle boarding  when we got there we meet friendly people there names are dan,steven, and mat they explain how to get on and paddle boarding  after that we went in to the ocean and paddle it was hard but i got used to it after that we had to stand up it was easy for me 

I was doing good into i fell off it was so funny and i get even get on so i 

swim back and got on the paddle boarding when i got on it i saw a jellyfish it was the first time i saw a jellyfish.
