4 TYPES OF NOUNS

1. Common Nouns :  These are names of non - specific things that you can see and touch. 

Examples: chair, book, boy, school. 

2. Proper Nouns : These are the specific names of people,book,films etc. a proper noun always 

Starts with a  capital letter. 

Examples:  Tonga,New zealand,Jacob,Isi. 

3. Collective nouns : These are names of groups of people or things. 

Examples : flock, swarm. 

4. Abstract nouns : These are names of things that we cannot see,touch,smell,feel or see. 

Examples : anger,fear,sad,confusion,and happiness 

Sort out these nouns into the correct columns. Use capital letters for all the Proper nouns.

85 million years ago NZ was one of the first countries to split apart from Gondwanaland. Gondwanaland is when all the land in the whole Earth was together in one big country - they split up and became the continents. This meant that the only mammals NZ has, either swan here or flew here. 

Because NZ is an island with no mammals, the birds, insects etc became defenseless (because they had no predators to hide from). Maori and Europeans settlers killed lots of animals, and brought with them predators from other countries (for example possums, rats, stoats, dogs). 

Those predators brought here by settlers, have destroyed our native birds/plants. NZ has one of the worst extinction records of any nation in the world. 

NZ has been trying to control the pests by using traps, poisoning but it hasn’t really worked. We need to work together to control the pests. 

It is everyone’s responsibility to control pests and protect native species - all New Zealanders.

Havea was sleeping in bed. he was having a bad dream. he went for a pee. then he called his wife Nitika. he called for toilet paper then she didnt reply. he had coronavirus he needed toilet paper for his boogers. he walked outside and saw no one in a street. he walked to a shop looking for toilet paper. he found a shop

In the morning the cousin rang his other cousin then said’ Malo e lelei ‘john then he said ‘hurry up i will come to pick you up soon get ready so we can go to tonga then the cousin said ‘OK!’.’And I think I have a call ' bob.Then he went to call Bob after the bob phone rang then Bob pick up the phone.He said’ good morning Tevita what the haps’ then  Tevita said’ hurry up we're gonna be late for our fly' Bob said’ sorry yeah i am gonna get ready for our trip. 

Then they were waiting for the bus then the bus came to pick all of them up.Then they said the bus driver's hey can you go to the airport after that the bus driver said OK!.

Then the ride to the airport was boring for them. They were so tired.Then the bus was going to sleep then crash.Then everyone on the bus got angry and they started killing each other.They stuck inside the desert.They try to walk at the airport but it was too hot.

Then they missed the flight then they were happy to make it but it was too late they waited for another ride.After that they went on the plane and to tonga they were so happy because they liked it so much.
